No Brake : No Way To Stop – A New Way to Kill Time

The gaming industry has grown larger over the years and that includes the ability to play games on your cell phones and tablets.  No Brake: No way to stop is a new game available for play in the gaming industry as well.  This game is available on both android and iOS platforms. It can be found on Google Play as well as the Apple App Store for download.  If you’re interested in a driving game that is something similar to a mix of subway surfer and Frogger with a distinctive lack of coins or items to collect (subway surfer) and immediate death once crashing into something (Frogger).

There has been an increase in the game creation industry in general as well in the past several years. Especially in the iOS and android platforms and operating systems when it comes to mass availability.  They range from multiple topics and purposes from FPS (First Person Shooter) to basic puzzle games. A major part of all the options available when downloading a potential game to play is the entertainment factor which includes the gameplay and options within.  Game play includes the visuals, controls, and accessibility.

In the case of “No Brake: No way to stop,”  this is what I have found to be true.  No Brake: No way to stop was easy to download and the game play was fairly simple.  It can potentially be great for all ages, though it is not really geared toward the hardcore gamer, in my opinion.  The controls are easy enough (potentially could be too easy in some cases).   It starts off on a screen where you can choose the quality of your game play, see the vehicle you’ll be driving, and choose how you’ll be controlling your vehicle.  There are only two options for controlling the vehicle and that would be to use your finger on the screen to move the car from side to side or to use the tilt function where you tilt your phone to control the vehicle.  The objective  seems to be to avoid or evade cars and other objects in the road for as long as possible.  There are vehicles that appear to fly or glide randomly in front of you and you have to avoid those as well- remember, you have no brakes and as soon as you impact anything that’s the end of that.  The longer you go without impact, the more points you get.  Game functionality is simple and to the point which is great for those who prefer things to be less complicated.

The option to change quality of image or window of play really just changes brightness level, the graphics are simple and basic within the game.  It’s definitely something you can play when you’re bored and can be a mindless and easy play if you don’t feel like thinking too hard or dealing with too much excitement in the game. Or if you simply like an uncomplicated, unique-ish, driving game.

All in all I would rate No Brake: No way to stop a 4 out of 5 out of all and maybe entertainment factor is a 3.5 out of 5.  I feel like it’s worth at least trying out but if you’re looking for a more in-depth and immersive game play then it’s not for you.  It’s all about perspective!
