Brain League – A League of its own

In a world filled with so many options to play a game, especially ones that are PvP or Person Vs Person, Brain League is in a League of it’s own.  This PvP game is based on going against one other opponent when it comes to the mind- i.e. logic, memory, etc.  Brain League has you create your player/avatar and once completing that step you can play the game.  It puts you against an opponent and you win points based upon the successful completion of each level. You go against your opponent and against the clock in this new PvP game play scenario.  Brain League has several puzzles and memory games that are timed and scored as you go against your opponent, the more points that you get the more options appear.

The accessibility is decent and the download was easy to function. Brain League is definitely in a league of its own.  It is a simple enough game play and the creating of the avatar that you use is very simple and basic.  I do wish that the option to change the gender of the avatar to female was available, but that’s not the biggest deal breaker, just a minor inclination.  It would also be nice if there were other options to choose from within regard to clothing, but that may just be me being a little nit-picky.

Otherwise, the gameplay itself was rather straight forward, some of the puzzles definitely confused me (I’m a little ashamed to admit), but I do like the levels with the matching game- the game where you flip the ‘cards’ and match symbols. I also enjoy the trivia/hang man mashup rounds as well.  It’s interesting to experience a heightened time collapse as I race to finish my puzzle, logic issue, etc before my opponent so that I can win (or lose) the round and gain (or lose) points.

I would definitely suggest this game for those interested in the simple challenges, and the trivia type challenges as well.  I havent figured out the full algorithm of the game yet but it definitely seems like a good try for those interested in testing their logic skills- it definitely makes you use your brain.

All in all I give Brain League a 3.5 out of 5 because of the limited available avatar options and the entertainment value was decent but not over the top for me.
